     Context for Chapter 2 In chapter 1, Paul gave Timothy encouragement by reminding him of his heritage and spiritual power. Here, in chapter 2, Paul expands on these commands. Rather than giving minute details, Paul presents a series of examples and tells Timothy to consider them carefully. Paul's instructions here set the stage for the warnings coming up in the next chapter.   Welcome to Elnora's Bible Study with Family & Friends!  Elnora is our mother who was instrumental in the launching of this Bible study. We began hosting these conversations on Clubhouse in May of 2022. The questions we include in these studies are inspired by her. She would always develop questions for us to consider as we read and discussed the Word together. We decided to name this study after her because we love her so much and we want her to be known and remembered by as many people as possible. She went on to meet the Lord in July of 2024.
